In the next few weeks there’s going to be a lunar eclipse AND a partial solar eclipse. On May 26th, in the early hours of the morning, you’ll be able to look up into the sky and watch the moon turn red! It will begin around 4:47a.m. and last until about 6:21a.m. But it won’t be visible in the Cincinnati area for that entire period, so wake up as early as you can to see it!
Then, two weeks later, there will be a partial solar eclipse on June 10th. It will be visible in some parts of North America in the morning. For Cincinnati, we should be able to see a small part of it. Just make sure you don’t look directly at it when it happens!
And if you miss one of these upcoming eclipses, don’t worry! There’s another lunar eclipse on the way in November to be on the lookout for.
